Does Thinktel Support the use of Domain Name as opposed to IP
No we do not support Domain Names. We require an IP address for your SIP Trunk Service.
If your IP changes (move, ISP change etc), please update via ucontrol.thinktel.ca our uControl FAQs tells you how. Or please contact the support department by email firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 8669284465 options 1-3-1.
The IP address associated with your SIP Trunk should always be static. If this is not the case, please contact your ISP and request for a static IP address.
Please also note that we also allow up to 8 IPs per SIP trunk.
